Dusk in the Rose Garden (scarf & short story)

five photos for Dusk in the Rose Garden Item Name & Description: “Dusk in the Rose Garden” is a handspun, handwoven scarf designed and made by award-winning SF/F writer Susan Palwick. The pink warp yarn, which is 100% wool, was spun by Rosa Maria Quinones; Palwick spun pink and green weft yarn, which is a blend of wool and silk. Handspun yarn is much softer and less allergenic than its commercial counterparts. The scarf measures 7″ x 76″, with six inches of twisted fringe on each end, and comes with its own origin story, a one-page piece of original fiction written by Palwick. (Please note that I own cats; I’ve washed the scarf and kept it in a secure container, but I can’t promise that there isn’t some fur in there somewhere.)
