“+2 Chromatic Dragon Scale Mail” bracelet and earrings by Clare Boothby

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAItem Name and Description: +2 Chromatic Dragon Scale Mail bracelet and earrings. Hand made jewellery made from anodised aluminium scales and rings, with a slight NetHack-y flavour. The earring wires are niobium, and the bracelet clasp is stainless steel.

The earrings are 5.5cm long, and the effective bracelet circumference is 22cm. The photos include a couple of action shots – on my partner’s arm (wrist circumference about 19.5cm) the bracelet sits nicely around his wrist; on my thinner arm (wrist circumference about 17cm) it sits about half-way along my forearm. I can easily adjust the length – let me know if you’d like it changed!

Starting Bid: $20

Shipping: anywhere

Other Notes: I’m located in the UK and will post out within a few days of the auction closing.

Starting Bid: $10

Shipping: If outside US or Canada, you may have to pitch in for shipping.

Other Notes: This will be made in communication with the winner and will thus take a week or so after the end of bidding to make. Your color preferences and tastes will be taken into account and special pieces like tiny mirrors, postage stamps, and other bits can be incorporated. I can definitely make brooches, necklaces, and bracelets; other items may be available depending on difficulty. I like doing fictional character-inspired pieces!

Created in a house with a dog and cat, so there may be some concern for people with extreme allergies, though materials should not collect hair. If you have any metal allergies, PLEASE LET ME KNOW.
