Item Name and Description:
The winning bidder will confer with me via email and we will agree on a theme for the pieces I will make from which the winner will choose one. I’ll make (at least) three pieces for them to choose from, and they get their pick of one of them. The others will go into my Etsy shop for regular sale. (The winner gets first chance to buy any of the unchosen pieces, if they like; if they pass, into the Etsy shop they go.)
“Theme” can mean anything from “Make something about mermaids, please!” to “I really like orange and magenta together; can you do something with that?” to “I need a pendant with a pen nib in it!” (Note: Theme doesn’t mean describing a very specific design with measurements and itemized materials and diagrams, because I’m not very good at that kind of custom work and we would probably both be sad. Theme as suggestion, though, I can deal with just fine. References available on request.)
The type of piece will be chosen by the winner from a list determined by the amount of the winning bid.
If the winning bid is under $20, the pieces can be earrings.
If the winning bid is under $40, the pieces can be earrings or pendants.
If the winning bid is under $80, the pieces can be earrings or pendants or hair ornaments or shawl pins.
If the winning bid is under $150, the pieces can be either earrings or pendants or hair ornaments or shawl pins or short necklaces.
If the winning bid is under $200, the pieces can be earrings or pendants or hair ornaments or necklaces (long or short).
If the winning bid is over $200, the pieces can be earrings or pendants or hair ornaments or shawl pins or necklaces (long or short) or necklace-crowns.
I make at least three. Winner picks one. Winner pays shipping costs.
