2016 was the 150th anniversary of the birth of H.G. Wells. The city of Woking, England celebrated this milestone throughout the year with programs, a walking tour, art exhibition and a new statue of Wells. Wells lived in Woking and set the opening of The War of the Worlds in and near Woking (the site where the Martians first land is Horsell Common, just outside the city). This 20.5” x 15.75” limited edition lithograph is from the Wells in Working celebration in 2016 The litho is #20/50, is signed by Neville Godwin, the artist, and comes with a certificate of authenticity. Also included is a copy of the Wells in Woking programme and handouts listing some of the events that occurred throughout the year.

  1. Nico, sorry, but bidding is closed. I admit I’m tempted to accept this, since it’s the only bid (if you’d met the starting bid of $50) but it’s not fair to other people who might’ve come across this late and decided not to bid, seeing that the auction was closed.
