Description:

Edited by Brian Lumley and multiple Bram Stoker Award-winner Stanley Wiater,  The Brian Lumley Companion is an indispensable guide to the life and works of Brian Lumley.

In The Brian Lumley Companion, Lumley aficionados will find an overview of the author’s career; essays comparing Lumley and H.P. Lovecraft; a lengthy interview with Brian Lumley which delves into the heart of his relationships with the writers and editors who inspired him and the fans who support him; and analyses of Lumley’s short fiction and novels. An interview with Bob Eggleton gives insight into the development of his striking covers for the Necroscope series and other Lumley works.

The Companion also includes complete listings of the first publications of each of Lumley’s novels, short fiction, and poetry. Major attractions are the detailed concordances that focus on individual novels and series, including the three Psychomech titles, the Dreamlands and Primal Lands series, and each volume in the Necroscope series.

This is a limited-run clothbound edition in a collector’s boxed casing. This edition is now out of print.

Starting Bid: $30.

Bidding is now open; it closes Sunday, February 23, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time. More Information.

Howard Waldrop: signed limited edition and others

Item Name & Description: Three Howard Waldrop books:

  • All About Strange Monsters of the Recent Past, 1st edition from Ursus. This is a signed limited edition (#274/600) in a slipcase. It’s in very good condition.
  • Howard Who?, 1st edition. It’s got some wear and light spotting on the top of the page block.
  • Them Bones, 1st (and only) hardcover. It too has light spotting on the top of the page block but is otherwise very nice.

Signed UK hardcover of The Eyre Affair (#51/100)

Item Name & Description:
When Hodder & Stoughton published Jasper Fforde’s The Eyre Affair they did a trade paperback and a simultaneous hardcover. There were only 100 copies of the hardcover, and each one was signed and included a promotional item (the items were unique as far as I know).

This is copy #51. The promotional item is a label for Goliath Orange Jam (unused). The book has not been read. The jacket has very minor edgewear and also a few very faint spots on the inner side (shown in one of the pictures); the book itself is fine.

I’ll also throw in a first edition UK trade paperback (not shown).
