The complete Inda series by Sherwood Smith – signed

Item Name and Description:

This is the complete four-volume Inda series by Sherwood Smith:

  1. Inda
  2. The Fox
  3. King’s Shield
  4. Treason’s Shore

Sherwood was good enough to offer this set in Jim Hines’ auctions benefiting Transgender Michigan; I won them and read them. I like them but sadly shelf space constraints dictate that they be sold on to benefit another worthy organization.

The books are all first printing hardcovers. They been read once each, carefully, with the jackets off. The jackets have rubbing marks, minor scratches, and edge nicks. Sherwood signed all four books with no personalization. The picture shows the actual books being sold.

Starting Bid: $80

Shipping: United States only – anywhere else would be prohibitively expensive

Other Notes: n/a

Bidding is now open and will end Sunday, May 7, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. (time zone conversions, countdown), EXCEPT that last-minute bidding on an item will extend the bidding for that item. More information.

The Dagger and the Coin series by Daniel Abraham

Item Name and Description:

This is the complete five-volume fantasy series by Daniel Abraham, consisting of these books:

  1. The Dragon’s Path
  2. The King’s Blood
  3. The Tyrant’s Law
  4. The Widow’s House
  5. The Spider’s War

The first three volumes were an offering from the publisher in a Con or Bust auction a few years ago; they are signed. I purchased the other two volumes new.

All five have been read once, carefully. They are in good shape but have typical edgewear for trade paperbacks. The picture shows the actual books being sold.

Starting Bid: $40

Shipping: United States only – anywhere else would be prohibitively expensive

Other Notes: n/a

The Collected Stories of Roger Zelazny – full 6-volume set

Item Name and Description:

In 2009 NESFA Press published this set of six hardcover volumes containing all of Roger Zelazny’s short fiction. They also contain his poetry, some non-fiction pieces (mostly about Amber as I recall), and a short novel or two. They also have some biographical and background information from the editors.

These volumes have been read once each, but carefully, so the interiors are in fine shape. The jackets are generally good but have the expected rubbing spots and minor edge nicks (these jackets appear particularly prone to rubbing spots). The picture shows the actual books being sold.

Starting Bid: $120

Shipping: United States only – anywhere else would be prohibitively expensive

Other Notes: n/a

The Silver Eel – one-shot Lankhmar fanzine

Item Name and Description:

The Silver Eel was a one-shot fanzine devoted to Fritz Leiber and Harry Otto Fischer’s Lankhmar stories. It was published by Robert Barger in 1978. It contains an interview with Leiber, essays by Karl Edward Wagner, Ken St. Andre, Fischer, and others, and artwork by people such as Tim Kirk, Gene Day, and Liz Danforth. (The cover is by Kirk and depicts Leiber as Fafhrd and Fischer as the Grey Mouser.)

I still have 6 extra copies of this. You may bid on one or more copies as you prefer – please specify how many. You do not need to outbid anyone unless and until all 6 copies have been bid on – I will post here if this occurs. If you can number your bids (e.g., “$20 on copy #3”) that would be helpful.

None of these copies have been read and all are in fine shape, though some have a little yellowing of page edges and such.

Starting Bid: 20

Shipping: United States for free, outside the US for an additional donation which could be steep (please ask first)

Other Notes: n/a
