Crash course in mid-20th-century Japanese literature

Item Name & Description: Six paperback volumes of Japanese literature in English translation. There are five novels:

  • No Longer Human by Osamu Dazai (tr. Donald Keene)
  • After the Banquet by Yukio Mishima (tr. Donald Keene)

And, for a sense of perspective:

  • Anthology of Japanese Literature: from the earliest era to the mid-nineteenth century, compiled by Donald Keene

These have all been read, but are in decent shape. The anthology has spine creases.
